The West dissect Chinese white papers or research papers from Chinese universities were written in English many years ago.
These are usually referred to by the mainstream western media while discussing the rise of China.
This papers that the West refers to are several decades old while the recent advances and new policy directions are only published in Chinese.
The current narrative and analysis in the West about China are based on white papers and research papers which are outdated and old.
And the West wonders how China is able to make the huge technological advances.
Take for example despite the semi-conductor ban, Huawei just released a mobile phone that had chips that is just a few years from the current chips in Western made phones.
The Chinese have brilliant engineers in all fields and they are being utilised to break the market stranglehold and monopoly on the semi-conductor industry by the Taiwan-ese and the Dutch.
Once they achieved parity in the semi-conductor industry, it is game over.
They have moved on and they have stated it in their papers but written in Han Chinese. The West has to learn how to read the Chinese language to understand China’s future strategic goals.
