I have reached a point where nothing in Fijian politics comes as a surprise.
After the retention of Lynda Tabuya as Minister for Women, Children, and Social Protection, notwithstanding the finding of guilt for ministerial misconduct by her own party disciplinary body, anything is possible.
Political expediency rules in Fiji politics, as it often does in politics generally.
