I am considering myself a proud citizen of Fiji and on the other hand a confused Year 13 student.
I must say the reinstatement of the Minister of Education has brought hope to many students, as we believe that the current Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, may want to re-look into a few things declared by the former Minister of Education.
A few things may include deciding whether or not to introduce the scaling of external marks after a decade.
We students are pleading to the ministry to reconsider this decision, and take into consideration that scaling of external marks will have a dramatic effect on a student’s external exam marks.
I hope the above matter is noted by the current minister.
I would not like to express much on this, as we students have been raising our concerns for the past two months.
I hope now, finally, it will be taken into consideration by Mr Radrodro.
