The Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, has copped some heavy criticism for reinstating Aseri Radrdro as the Minister for Education.
Fiji Sun’s front page roars that it is Rabuka’s U-turn and some even called him a liar.
However, in my view this was Rabuka’s master stroke!
I wish to remind his critics that Rabuka is a trained soldier and he has been taught survival skills while in the army.
He has also served as a lay preacher in the Methodist Church and knows the value of forgiveness and understanding.
Therefore, he has pulled out ammunition from both his survival bags and done the right thing.
Mr Radrodro is an educated, brilliant young man who can be trained to be a great leader in the future.
It is the prerogative of the Prime Minister to make hard decisions.
He has done exactly that as a good leader.
I am sure Mr Radrodro has learnt his lessons for the future and the Prime Minister must be admired for his courage and astute leadership.
Hearty congratulations, Mr Radrodro.
Do a good job at the Ministry of Education and prove every critic wrong.
