I want to express my views on the current human rights issues in Fiji, a major issue that cannot be ignored. Acts, including discrimination and violence, is a concern to not individuals but also the culture that defines our country.
When human rights are threatened, the entire society is at risk. People tend to forget cultural trends and traditions when such issues are silenced. It is important that we work together to address such issues, making ways for an environment where everyone is respected.
I urge our government, civil society, and citizens to prioritize human rights. By doing so, we can minimize unfairness and ensure that our cultural heritage is preserved. Together, we can create a fair society for all Fijians.
