Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica says he did meet with FICAC acting deputy commissioner Francis Puleiwai and asked if there was a report against him and that this was not interference or intimidation (FS 3/10).
But what is the public perception here? I recall Bainimarama going up to see ministers and senior state officials and even going to court in full military regalia. That was blatant intimidation.
Has intimidation in the post Bainimarama era acquired a more subtle character as the claims made by Puleiwai in her ABC interview seem to suggest?
