The proposal to declare Nadi a city hasn’t.
been successful after a few attempts.
The issue is no longer talked about because they know the reality on the ground.
The declaration did not happen, which was expected because we know why. You were trying to put the horse before cart.
That said, now that the reality that your house is not in order is clear to you, move fast and get it in order.
To complete the journey, the first step is always important.
Ratepayers should ask the question: does the council have the expertise and right people to take the town forward?
If you ask me, I will say, no.
We need skilled people with the right knowledge, experience, and qualification to put the town where we want it to be.
We have to look at the picture broadly.
