It’s quite absurd and laughable when the Prime Minister claims ignorance about which of his ministers are under investigation.
Really, Mr Prime Minister? You should be the first person to know about what’s transpiring within your administration and any ongoing matters regarding your ministers.
Shouldn’t you be receiving regular updates from your personal assistant, assistant minister or permanent secretary?
If they’re failing to keep you informed, then they are not doing their jobs properly.
The position of Prime Minister comes with immense responsibility. You are not just the head of government but also the leader of the country.
Being aware of what’s happening within your administration is not merely a matter of protocol but a fundamental aspect of effective governance.
As the Prime Minister you cannot afford to be out of the loop when it comes to investigations involving your own ministers.
It’s not just a matter of being informed; it’s a critical component of leadership and governance.
Only by staying vigilant and proactive can the Prime Minister uphold the principles of accountability, transparency and integrity that are essential for a functioning democracy.
This is a humble request to you Mr Prime Minister: allocate a few moments of your time to stay updated about what’s happening around you by listening to radio news, watching television broadcasts or reading newspapers.
