It is great to read that our new Fiji 7s coach Osea Kolinisau has allowed members of the Fiji 7s squad to play for their clubs during the Tabadamu 7s tournament last week and in the Marist 7s this week.
He will select and announce the new Fiji 7s team after the Marist 7s at Laucala and we all pray that his choice will win Fiji its first 7s title after the long drought, which led to the change.
It would be great to see our new Fiji 7s team playing together in a local tournament be-fore battling out at the Hong Kong 7s the following week.
Fiji 7s fans are all looking forward to the performance of our new coach and team in Hong Kong.
The HK 7s tournament was known as the mecca of 7s rugby and if our boys win this one, then the move to change the 7s coach was correct and our boys are moving in the right direction in keeping our dream alive.
Go Fiji go.
