Sir, after accessing all public roads in Fiji, I find that Vanua Levu roads have been neglected.
The Vanua Levu roads have not been encircled unlike Viti Levu Queens and Kings roads made complete circle all around. Similarly, public roads disect the main central land across Nadarivatu to Tavua plus a myriad of linking roads within the interior hinterlands.
While we in Vanua Levu have to endure this for most of the time now, our sick senior citizens, school children and agrarian families will continue hiring punts and tread on horse tracks for a long time.
Again, soothsayers bragging about the ‘Look North Policy.’ Aren’t they necessary and working?
Thought of shifting Parliament sitting to 4/5 years hence elevate public utilities and infrastructure services here.
