Around every corner; we now seem to find a helpless beggar with a plastic cup, handkerchief or an outstretched hand waiting to be filled with loose coins from passersby.
Children are now included with the adults or choose their own corners.
Those same outstretched hands reach out for a banana or two to fill their hungry tummies for the morning.
A big bunch of bananas can feed a whole block of beggars for the morning.
