There is a saying that lions roar in the jungle, but most recently, the Suva Grammar School (SGS) Jubilee celebrations in Suva rang loud, were colourful and lively.
I loved watching updates on social media of the march, kava sessions, dancing and just seeing former students catch up.
There were two things that stood out.
Firstly, former students were simply enjoying these special moments together and reminiscing about the past.
Thanks so much to individuals such as Stanley Simpson and Asaeli Sinusateki for their regular posts on Facebook.
Secondly, in its history, SGS appears as one of the most multi-cultural schools in the country.
My memories of this famous school include following some cousins running around the compound during the school holidays and looking foward to that famous swimming pool.
In the midst of this, our raiders were alert as we tried to avoid detection by that famous teacher, Mr Vincent McKenzie.
All in all, the SGS celebration rocks and one can truly say that this was one of the best organised school reunions in Fiji.
