For Attorney-General Siromi Turaga to point a finger at the FijiFirst government’s laxity shows how childish, shallow and naive he is.
Instead, he should be looking at ways to arrest the narcotics business on our shores.
And has he conveniently forgotten that the country’s biggest drug haul so far was exposed within the first two years of the Coalition Government?
Lethal are these dangerous narcotics now frequenting our shores in droves, according to the police reports.
The damage done to the health of both young and old is far reaching in terms of the drugs’ negative impact on them.
Our country is a target and hot spot for smuggling these dangerous drugs.
The only way to stop this illegal trade is to change our 2013 Constitution and bring back the deterrent death penalty for those found guilty of trafficking and consumption of any of these narcotics.
And 1 am not kidding here.
If the death penalty is law in the Republic of Indonesia and the small rich island nation of Singapore, who also practice Christianity, why can’t Fiji do it as a deterrent?
The worst scenario about these drugs is that our children, who are consuming it all, look like Fijian iTaukei zombies who are a threat to societies, are unproductive and dangerous to say the least.
Even parents of these children cannot control them.
So, bring back the death penalty.
Can Fiji afford this lifestyle?
It’s much better to start the death penalty asap then to have our sorry zombie country with all its Fijian population ending up in Hell’s Lane come the return of our Great Lord Jehovah.
Save our souls, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka!
Decide now before it’s too late.
