Scratch My Back

It is great to read the headline: Rabuka Closes Tabuya’s Case, She Remains Minister (FS 31/3).

He had earlier stated that claims made against Ms Tabuya were mere allegations.

Can the ruling Rabuka Coalition now focus on lifting the standard of living of Fijians living below the poverty life?

The new wage increase will be welcomed by all Fijians as long as the Government holds any counter increase in prices of goods and services from businesses.

Fijians loved the Bainimarama FijiFirst reign because of the many handouts given to families to ease their burdens and lift their standard of living.

The Rabuka Coalition is doing its best to lower the nation’s debt and maybe that is why, it is cutting down on the handouts and freebies.

Fijian voters have the mentality of You scratch my back and I will scratch yours.

I believe that if the Rabuka Coalition does not match the handouts and freebies enjoyed by Fijians during the FijiFirst reign, they will be the opposition after the next General Election.
