I salute and sincerely thank the Land Transport Authority (LTA) for its cancellation of 98 licences and suspending four, for the period
August 1, 2023, to March 01, 2024.
This is excellent work. LTA must be extra vigilant in its efforts to rid our roads of careless, reckless and dangerous drivers, with increased
urgency.
There are far too many.
LTA road rangers need to be very “hawkeyed and laser focussed” on PSV drivers’ dressed codes. Many lack courtesy.
Some taxis, mini-buses and buses, are old, worn out, dirty and lack public appeal.
They need to be given cause to smarten up or taken off our roads.

This problem must be addressed. Do not look the other way; please.
Additionally; are Lautoka taxis operating daily and freely in the Namaka, Martintar and Nadi CBD, doing so legally?
They are denying our Nadi taxi operators/ owners hard earned daily income.
Times are hard. Living is expensive. Nadi taxis needed protection, immediately.
I had supplied a list of some 12 Lautoka taxi number plates for your attention. Any action, LTA?
