Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) national emergency – 84 per cent of deaths: young, dying widowed spouses and single-parented children-psychological issues-social problems: it’s not going to end if the Government keeps allowing junk food such as noodles into the country and detrimental drinks like Coca-Cola.
It’s a tug-of-war to decide what is good that is bad for the economy and what is bad that is good for the nation.
At the end of the day, the Government cannot rid Fiji of NCDs let alone control it!
