Two hydro projects will be done on the island of Taveuni by a company named Hydro Developments Private Ltd.
What concerns me is the statement by the managing director, Dr Philip, that these two-world class mini hydro project sites are unknown to Energy Fiji Ltd and the Government.
Can Mr Hasmukh Patel and the Minister for Energy let us know if the statement made by Dr Phillip is true?
Meanwhile, can the Wainiqeu Hydro Station be upgraded to one megawatt from the present 400 kilowatts?
