I am sure that apart from me, many other Fijians are wondering what the “vulagi” ministers and assistant ministers in Government think about the sentiments of the Prime Minister in respect of the “vulagi”.
In this new environment of freedom of speech and no more fear, the “vulagi” members of government are extremely quiet.
At the NFP “lovefest” in Rakiraki last weekend, this word was not even mentioned once.
Is it because of embarrassment, or fear, or because these “vulagi” members of government are serving their own self-interest at the expense of all the rest of the “vulagi” in the country? Perhaps it is all of the above.
Because, as far as I am concerned, silence means they agree with these sentiments.
