Wow! How awe inspiring is that? Rabuka stepped in to lead the government which promised a paradigm change in democratic governance.
Many erstwhile supporters now take the view that the more things change the more they stay the same.
Some even think we may have gone from the frying pan into the fire in so far as adherence to the norms of good democratic govern-ance is concerned.
Yet others say 2026 can’t come soon enough so that they vote the Rabuka mob out of power.
